Escorts often work by advertising in magazines or newspapers or they are hired by escort agencies to carry out their tasks. However, the services can range from simple companions to acting as partners in a social setting and onwards to the more sexually orientated practices. Some escorts could accompany men or women who do not have a partner and would like someone to accompany them to a social event, be it a party or a high school reunion. Sometimes the call girl (as they are sometimes known) are chosen for their ability to pull off such an act so that the client's friends believe that this person is their real partner.
In other cases, older people or are perhaps lonely divorcees or widowers could hire an escort to keep them company. Of course there are also escorts who are hired for the more sexual acts, but although some of these could include full sexual intercourse, they might only result in the carrying out of fetishes. This could mean domination-based activities amongst others.
